Description: The project includes a series of cross-cutting social, educational and health services to the population of the pygmy Baka/BaGyeli tribes, who live in camps close to the equatorial rainforest in the South Province of Cameroon. This is a pilot project that aims to improve the general health of the population, the construction of basic infrastructure (schools, water wells, latrines, etc..), the strengthening of some health facilities in the area, to start the literacy process of Baka children in preschool, and the development of local committees for the defense of ethnic autonomy. All this in order to support the Pygmy people in the process of insertion and social integration, preserving their freedom and ethnical identity.
