Title: Shelter for street children

Target: Currently about 360 street children and orphans (children/adolescents) (70 internal and 290 external)

Description: The project aims to the reception (residential and diurnal), education and recovery of orphans (mainly because of war and AIDS) or abandoned (forced to live on the street due to the state of poverty, of sorcerie and social deprivation in which are numerous families). Children are accommodated in two shelter homes in the "Centre P. L. Monti" and "Brother Clemente Maino Centre". All "internal" children frequent the Stablum school ( elemantary and secondary study cycles ) which accomodate for free all students which take part of the OSPEOR (The Oeuvres Sociales pour la Protection des Enfants de la Rue et Orphelins ) recovery program.
