All our activities in Equatorial Guinea

Equatorial Guinea is an almost forgotten country because of its small size, limited population, and non strategic position on the world map. Nonetheless, the discovery of oil in 1996 and the methane deposits in 2001 have produced unprecedented economic growth. According to UN estimates, however, 80% of the country's wealth is controlled by less than 5% of the population. Although the extraordinary economic development is not accompanied by a redistribution of benefits, it has enabled some improvement of social services, especially in the areas of health care and education. Despite this, Equatorial Guinea remains one of the countries in the world with the highest rate of illiteracy and mortality. Dokita has been working in the country since since 1989 and has implemented several projects in the field of formation, health and education. Dokita supports a school and a boarding facility poor orphans in Bata.
