Dokita onlus is an Italian humanitarian organization founded on the will of a group of lay volunteers with the purpose of supporting the humanitarian work of the missionaries of the Congregation of the sons of the Immaculate Conception in the world.
Over the years the organization has developed both internally and externally. Dokita currently counts about 67 registered volunteers and operates in 12 countries besides Italy bringing forward projects international development cooperation.
The main objective of the volunteers of Dokita onlus is to contribute to build a different world, equal for all, a world in which every person has equal dignity and opportunities in respect of its diversity and conditions of life.
Dokita onlus is at the side of the missionaries of the CFIC in the fight against the exclusion of people who live in conditions of marginalization and poverty in order to ensure their full inclusion. Work in favor of people with disabilities, the sick, the children who live in conditions of great poverty and misery, populations affected by humanitarian emergencies, realising projects aimed at ensuring the full enjoyment of fundamental human rights.
